  1. When a member joins, the association records the name , address and bank details of the person joining or of his or her members or bodies. This information is stored in the association’s IT systems . Each member is assigned a membership number . This personal data is protected from third-party access by suitable technical and organizational measures. Each member consents to the storage of his or her data.
  2. Persons not belonging to the association who are involved in data processing are prohibited from collecting, processing or using personal data of members without authorization (data secrecy ). These persons must be obliged to maintain data secrecy when they begin their work for the association and they must be informed that data secrecy will continue even after their work has ended.
  3. The obligations arising from Section 4g Paragraph 2a BDSG shall be the responsibility of the Board of Directors.
  4. Membership lists will only be sent to persons from the umbrella organization DCB, WDCV and to association members who perform a function that requires knowledge of the membership lists. Each association member agrees to this transmission of his data and must ensure the consent of his members .
  5. If members claim that they require the membership lists to exercise their statutory rights , in particular the minority rights according to Section 37 Paragraph 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the membership lists will only be handed over by the Board of Directors against a written assurance that the data will be used exclusively for legitimate purposes.
  6. Personal data of departing members relating to cash management shall be retained for up to ten years from the date of departure in accordance with tax regulations .
  7. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the BDSG, each member has the right to information about data stored about him or her, correction of incorrect data stored about him or her, blocking of data stored about him or her whose accuracy cannot be determined, and deletion of data stored about him or her whose storage is not permitted.
